Tho Government cabled to the Imperial authorities asking if women co dd be allowed to travel to Bouth Africa, Panama, San Francisco, nr Vancouver. A reply bus now been received that tho Imperial Government aees no objection to tho issue of permits to women intending to journey to the places mentioned: but on no ac.fount will they bd granted passports to proceed through the Atlantic danger rone.
