ONE LIVES OUT OF FOUR
AWARDS FOR HEROIC NEW ZEALANDERS.

Four medals won in the field wore presented by the Hon. Sir James Allen, .Minister for Defence, to-day. Three of the heroes have not lived to receive the medals, and in these cases the decorations were presented to their fathers.
Lieutenant Oavin D. Alexander, killed in action, Rained the D.C.M. while a sergeant in the Divisional Signal Company. He was represented by his father. Air E. 11- Alexander, of Epsom.
Mr E. A. Bedgood, of Kaihn, was given the "Military 3ledal won by his son, Lance-Corporal. W. W. C. Bedgood. Mr S. L. P. Rimmer, of Mount Eden. received the Military Medal on behalf of his son,. Sergeant W. C. Rimmer.
fiannor R. I. | g, of Devonport, was the. only one personally to receive the decoration of the Military Medal.
