Considerable interest was taken in the publication of tho list last evening -and a number of men waited for some time in the vicinity of the General 'Post Offico, where a copy of the “Gazette Extraordinary” was to be posted as soon as available. There were four recruiting districts which supplied their quotas for the 33rd and 24th Reinforcements by voluntary enlistment. They were;— No. I—Auckland City. No. 7—Hawke’s Bay. No. IS—Nelson.
