The -undermentioned to be second lieutenants (temporary) during the absence of officers with the New Zealand Expeditionary Force: — Victor Alfred Mills, vice Lieutenant Gasq.uoin«; Sergeant-Ma jor Francic Henry Sharland, vice Lieutenant Cowles. The appointment of Second Lieutenant (on probation) Barton Albert Ginger is confirmed. Corporal John Thomas Lineban. to be second lieutenant, supernumerary to establishment. Stores Branch. Honorary Major Jam#s O'Sullivan. Q.M.G. (3), attached N.Z. Staff Corps, relinquishes the appointment of Assistant Quartermaster-General at Headquarters, and is appointed Deputy Inspector, Equipment ..and Ordnance Stores, with his present rank. Lieutenant (temporary Captain) Thomas MoCristell, N.Z- Staff Corps, to be Direotor of Equipment and Ordnance Stores, Q.M.G. (3), at Headquarters, with the honorary rank of major while so employed, vice Honorary Major James O'Sullivan. Unattached List (b). Malcolm Boss (official war correspondent. New Zealand Government) is granted the honorary rank of captain during the period of the war. Lieutenant Oliver Duff is transferred to the New Zealand Army Service Corps (No. 6 Company). Lieutenant d Auvergne Stanley Leigb Grut is struck off the strength of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force, and is absorbed. Cecil Dare Bridge is granted the honorary rank of lieutenant while employed as Officer-in-Charge Camp Records, and With effect from March 23rd, 1916. The appointments of the nndermentioned second lieutenants (on probation) are confirmed :—Arthur \ Bertram Collier, David Charles Collins, Arthur Groevenor Mabie, Harry Byron Taylor. John Douglas Vernon to be second lieutenant. The undermentioned we to be second lieutenants (on probation): Ernest Partridge, Robert William Winter, Harold Butler Lusk, Frank , fludd Denton.
