HEAVILY FINED
A BOOTMAKER’S OFFENCE. INTERFERING WITH RECRUITING. Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH. January 25. At the Magistrate’s Court to-day, Henry William Reynolds was charged on two informations with publishing matter likely to interfere with recruiting. The accused, who is a bootmaker, had exhibited certain pictures and publications in his shop window.
Reynolds pleaded guilty, and w r as fined £SO.
