Dawson said he followed the, woman into-the kitchen of a house, carrying a revolver which he supposed was unloaded. Ho jokingly said he would shoot the woman, who replied: “You could not shoot a worm.” Jestingly, he levelled the revolver and pulled the trigger. Instead of an audible click, the revolver went off, killing the woman. Dawson was arrested on a charge of murder.]
