NURSES FOR THE FRONT
VOLUNTEEE SISTERHOOD FUND. s " Press Association. CHEISTCHUECH, October 14. Miss Eout, secretary of the Volunteer Sisterhood, has reported that over ,£IOOO 'will bo paid to the Defence Minister for the Volunteer Sisterhood in Egypt. Eight sisters are beiny sent. The following bodies are contributing:—Patriotic Committees at Gisbornc, .£200; Wanganui and Hawera Shearers' Union, Kirkcaldie and Stains, New Zealand Farmers' Cooperative, and Grace Bros. (Carterton), .£IOO each. The nurses will leave towards the end of thuo month.
