SEPTEMBER FIGURES SHOW BIG INCREASE, By Telegraph—Pres? Association—Copyright LONDON, October 8. The Board of Trade returns dealing with, tits volume of trade in September, issued to-day, show very" substantial increases; as compared, with ': September, 1914, when the full; effect, of the war was beginning to .bo, felt. V/Xast month's figures show increases all round, amounting to <£25;286,812, or 56,10 per cent;, in the value of , imports; exports of Homo products wore greater by .£5,634,331, ■or ■21.12 per cent.; and foreign and colbhial products re-exported exceeded the previous September total by .£2,296,286, or 43.42 per cent. The full figures for the month just ended, and, for* September, 1914. are as follow:
