GENERAL FORECAST FOR TO-DAY.
(By the Government Meteorologist.)
Present indication (5 p.m. yesterday) are for cloudy to overcast conditions generally with, rain probable, particularly in tho West Coa3t and southern districts of the South Island. Increasing northerly to westerly winds are liKeiy ti prevail, with a further decrease in atmospheric pressure. (Details on page- 10.)
