KELBURN BOWLING CLUB
The annual meeting of the Kelburn Bowling Club was held in the clh b s new pavilion on Tuesday evening. Ihe report and balance-sheet, extracts from which have already been published, was adopted. Tho following officers were unanimously re-elected for the ensuing year’:— President.. Mr F. Meadoworoft; vice-president, Mr T. Gray; secretary. Mr F. T R. Johnson; treasurer Mr J. S. MacArthur; auditor, Hr C. Batten. Messrs R. E. Manley., F. Widdop. F. Meadoworoft and E. G. Gannawuy were appointed to the vacant positions on the directorate. Tho club is pleased to put on record tho names of two of its members who have joined the- expeditionary force, viz., Surgeon-Captain Be-ro- who -went with the main hady, a.nd”Lieutonant Wakelin; who goes with the 7th reinforcements.- The subscriptions of members will be remitted while they aro serving then' country with tho forces. Messrs McColl and Batten received the congratulations ot the club on the restoration to health of iheir sons who are at the front.
