Britain to-day is offering a national tribute to Franco, in the. form of a' general collection for the French Rod Cross work- It includes services in Westminster Abbey' and AVestminster Cathedral, and a fete at Montagu House, at which Queen Mary, Queen Alexandra, and many other Royal personages will attend. Ladies will sell tiny tri-colours at shops, stations, restaurants, and theatres, but not .in' the streets.

The school children of London will ho marshalled at midday, and will sing the “ Marseillaise.”
