GERMAN OFFENSIVE EAST OF KRASNYK STOPPED
(Received July 7, 9 pan.) PETROGR-AD, July 7. Official.—“ There was most desperate fighting on Sunday evening and Monday morning between the Vistula and the Western Bug on the sector from TJrzendow to Lychawa. The German offensive east of Krasnyk was stopped by a blow on the German flank on the heights north-wesf of• Wilkolaz. where two thousand Germans were taken prisoner and two thousandwere killed.” ■
