The Anchor Company’s steamer Petone, which left Wellington yesterday afternoon for Wanganui, will proceed' from the latter port to Bluff. The Anchor Company's steamer Kennedy is due at Wellington to-morrow from Picton, and will sail in the evening for Nelson and West Coast. Mr W. H. Jude has succeeded Mr H. S. The Awahou landed stores at Whataraugi and arrived back at Wellington yesterday afternoon witli thirty hales of wool. The vessel -sailed last evening for Westport to load coal for Wanganui or Foxtail.

Owing ,to the Anchor Company's steamer Wnirnea being bar-bound at Greymouth she will probably not come to Wellington this week. The vessel proceeds from Grey to Tarakohe. Tho Manuka got away from Wellington at 3.30 p.m. yesterday for Lyttelton with remainder of cargo from Sydney. The vessel is due back hero to-morrow morning and will sail at 5 p.m. to-inor-row for Sydney and Hobart. KIA ORA FOR LONDON. At 7 o’clock yesterday morning tho Shaw, Savili, and Albion liner Kia Ora left Wellington for London, via ports. The vessel took a full cargo of meat, 'wool, etc., but no dairy produce. She is due at her destination on August 18th. CORINTHIC LEFT HOBART. En route from London, the Shaw. Savili, and Albion liner Corinthio left Hobart at 7 a.m. on Tuesday for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Port Chalmers. The vessel is now due at Wellington on Saturday morning. ATHENIC DUB SATURDAY. The Shaw, Savili, and Albion liner Athenic, from London, left Auckland at 7 a.m- yesterday for Whangarei and Wellington. Tho vessel is due here on Saturday next. MOKOIA DUE SATURDAY. Line, have been advised by cable'. that the steamer Canastota, of the above line, hag been delayed five days at Panama Canal while en route from New York to Wellington. The vessel’s detention is believed to be due to another, slide at the Culebra Cut. WAIWERA FOR LOADING. The Shaw, Savili, and Albion liner Waiwera arrived at Wellington at 8.20 o’clock yesterday morning from Brisbane via Nelson, to continue Homeward loading. The vessel berthed at the Glasgow wharf. The run across the Tasman Sea, which was favoured by fine weather. Was made in 4J days, an average speed of 12i knots. Captain Charman’s officers are; Chief, Mr I- Kidman; second, Mr S M- James; third, Mr S. Abbott, all of whom were in similar positions on the Tokomaru, when she was torpedoed off Havre last January. The Waiwera is to leave Wellington on Saturday for Napier, Gisborne, Tokomam Bay. and Auckland, to complete her cargo. She is to leave Auckland about the 20th inst. for London via ports. .
