TRENTHAM MOST SUITABLE SITE.

. “The present site of Trentham camp is considered healthy,'” said the Minister for Defence in reply to a suggestion from Mr W. H, Picul (Otaki), that before spending any further moneys in permanent improvements on the present Trentham camp site the Government should take steps to discover, if possible, a more suitable site, with drier and warmer and generally healthier conditions, for the purpose of a permanent central camp for the Dominion. The Minister added that the Trentham camu possessed a gravel subsoil and manv other advantages which made it most suitable as a camp for training the expeditionary forces.
