The Government steamer Hinemoa finished overhauling the buoys at Kaipara yesterday, and is to sail this morning for Onehunga. From the lastmentioned port the vessel will sail on Monday for Wellington, where she is due on. Wednesday morning. ■ The Hinemoa will next work all the Cook Strait lighthouses prior to visiting the southern lighthouses. WAIHORA DUE MONDAY. The Union Company advises that the Waihora, now discharging Calcutta' cargo at Auckland, is to leave the- northern port this afternoon for Wellington, where she is duo bn Monday. , After discharging 1111 tons of cargo at this port the Waihora will sail on. Tuesday for Lyttelton. WIMMBEA FROM MELBOURNE. After a very good run across the Tasman Sea, the Huddarfc-Parker liner Wimmera arrived at Wellington at 3.60 p.m. yesterday from Melbourne and Hobart, and berthed at No. 2 (outer tee). Queen’s wharf. Pratique was granted, and the vessel commenced discharge at 6 o’clock last night. The vessel left Hobart at 5 p.m, on Monday, and had generally fine weather and smooth seas, with a few light showers, until nearing the land The trip from the Tasmanian port was accomplished in 3 days 21i hours, which is the fastest time yet made by the Wimmera in that run. The cargo for Wellington totalled 507 tons, including transhipments ex Eotomahana, Karoola, Warilda, and Mooltan. The Wimmera is to sail at 5 p.m. .to-day for Lyttelton. Dunedin,; Bluff, and Melbourne, omitting the usual call at Hobart. STAB OF SCOTLAND The C. and D. liner Star of Scotland, which left; Wellington at noon yesterday for London via Las Palmas, loaded the following cargo at Wellington:—476 casks tallow, 7 barrels tallow, 279 casks pelts, 363 bales .wool, 75 bales skins, 1200 castes meats, 675 carcases mutton, 45,316 carcases lamb, 15,583 legs mutton, 1 horse. INVERTAY DELATED. The A. and A. liner Invertay, from New York , via Auckland, should have reached Wellington yesterday morning but the strong south-easterly gale has apparently delayed the vessel, for she had not put in an appearance up till an early hour this morning. ■ The Invertay is to berth at the King’s wharf, where she will discharge about 2000 tons of cargo. • She is expected to sail on Wednesday next for Melbourne.
