CHARGE AGAINST CHRISTCHURCH MAN.' Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, May 11. In the court to-day W. Sigglekow was charged with having on May Ist, at Christchurch, spread a false report hy stating that the “Ist, 2nd, and 3rd contingents have boon practically wiped out. There will be a special editicin at 0 o’clock ” —such statement being likely to prejudice recruiting. A remand to May 19th was granted to allow accused to prepare his defence.
