The Russians have won a great victory in Hungary, between the Lupkow and Uszok Passes, after a three days’ battle, inflicting enormous losses on the Austrians. Civilians have been ordered, to leave Cracow forthwith. According to Dutch newspapers the roar of the guns on the Yser has increased, and the action is uncommonly fierce. ’Eh© Germans are preparing for* a great effort, large bodies of troops moving. The German submarine tT2£) is believed to have been sunk with all hands.A Dutch steaEmer has been sunk off Beachy Head by submarine U2B. All ’lands were saved* Warships and mine-sweepers re-entered the Dardanelles on Tuesday last. A. bitter struggle proceeds in Constantinople- betweem the war and peace parties, and a revolution is threatened. In an interview, General Ricciatti Garibaldi declared that Italy conld -put two millions of thoroughly efficient soldiers in the field. “Greece and Roumania would follow Italy with another million.” Itoumania is expected to decare war. on the side of the Allies, this week, and Bulgaria and Greece to follow shortly.
