PETROGBAD, September 30. ’ New German army corps have functioned with the remnant of the Austrians in Galicia, and the combined army is in contact with the Russians on the Carpathian-Tarnow-Cracow front. , f , [The Germans have presumably entered Austria from Silesia. Lemberg and Cracow are connected by rail, and Tamow is an important town on the lino fifty miles from Cracow, and 140 miles from Lemberg.] 5
