FOR THE INVASION OF FRANCE HOW IT WAS UPSET BY BELGIUM AND BRITAIN (Received October 1, 1 a.m.) ' ' LONDON, September 30. “The Times ” publishes an article by a well-known publicist of a licit* tral country, who was in Germany when the war broke out. He has sincebeen with the German army in Belgium. The writer states that Germany’s plan of invasion in t rance divided its forces into an army of invasion and an army of occupation. The former was composed entirely of the first Hue, and the most modern light artillery, to prepare the way for the heavy howitzers and ■ siege guns intended for the reduction of the Paris, forts and other fortified cities. The" army of occupation was composed of the Landwehr and Landsturm. and was to occupy the cities, garrison the fortresses, and guard'the oomnnn nlCa Tho S ßelgiau 8 ’ fierce opposition and the speedy arrival of the British force made many alterations necessary. KAISER AND GROWN FRINGE VIOLENT QUARREL OVER FRENCH CAMPAIGN. “Times” and Sydney “Sun” Services. (Received September 30, 5.4(T p.m.) , LONDON, September 30, Reports from Copenhagen state that *a violent quarrel exists between the Kaiser and the Crown Prince of Germany, the former considering that the campaign in France has been a fiasco. The Kaiser is reported to bo inconsolable. i DEATH OF KAISER'S THIRD SON ' SAID TO HAVE BEES KILLED BY GERMAN BULLET. (Received September 30, 11.50 p.m.) LONDON, September 29. A Belgian doctor states that Prince Adalbert, the Kaiser’s third son, died at Brussels in hospital. A physician .was ordered to hold an autopsy in the presence of two German doctors. The examination revealed that the Prince was killed by a German bullet. Other postmortems show that certain German officers were killedm « similar manner.
