KARORI'S PROGRESS.
Remarkably enough, Karori has novel made any rapid progress as compared with Wellington’s other suburbs. It’u naural, beauty, fine trees, well laid out gardens, bracing climate and the excel.ent class of houwis prevalent here, are all in its favour. Lack of access seems to have been the drawback. This 141 largely removed by the motor ’bus service now established. That service should help Karori enormously. Land in this suburb is far cheaper than elsewhere round Wellington. Messrs J. T, Horn. Limited, of Panama street, in discussing this, stated that they have toy sale at present two small areas each iii x 120. Price JE9O each, situated within, a few yards of the electric car. Also a magnificent area for a largo house, nearly one acre, level, close to tram, harbour view, price .£7BO. Again, IS acres suitable for a poultry run, near tram, price J 3280 the lot. These prices certainly indicate the low values, which must appreciate. *
