Acland, Foreign Undersecretary, stated that no declaration of war, or act of hostility, had yet occurred between Britain and Austria. Tho music halls are trying to reduce their artistes’ salaries by ono-hnlf. The Artistes’ Association ia strongly relisting tho proposal.
