The South Sydney and the Eastern Suburbs Rugby League Clubs are asking permission to negotiate for the sending of a team to tour New Zealand at the close of the Sydney season. S. Dean is departing for England to join the Hull club at a remunerative fee. No League matches will be played m Wellington to-day. The following teams left for /Chnst-churoh by the ferry steamer last night to play against Canterbury teams: — * • Seniors—Pull-back, J. Strickland; three-quarters, B. Whitley, G. Bradley, J. Parker, W. Wilson ; halves, A. Murdoch, J. Barber' (captain);. forwards, A. Donaldson, J. Spencer, L. Campbell, J. Ashton, G. Lawlor, F. Manning. Juniors Full-back, E. Hewson; three-quarters, C. King, Abbott, Collett, Johnson;' halves, victore. Langridge; ' forwards, Barlow, Clapham, Smith, C. McGregor, Mexted, Haddocks.
