ATLANTIC FLIGHT
LIEUTENANT PORTE HAS NOT ABANDONED IT. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright (Received July 13, 11.40 p.m.) LONDON, July 13. Lieutenant Porte, the airman, cabling to the “Daily Mail,” denies the rumour that he has abandoned his Atlantic flight. He adds that the solution of the difficulties of raising a load clear of the water is certain at an early date.
