D BATTERY ANNUAL BALL
This popular hall given hy members of the D Battery of Volunteer Artillery has steadily grown in favour, and in anticipation of a huge_ enlistment for invitations tho committee ' have deemed it necessary to arrange for a much .larger dance room than hitherto, .having secured tho Sydney street schoolfoom for the coming event. Tho D Battery ball is now an established institution, and wo have pleasure in heralding the forty-sixth event in its dance history. The committee of management have spared no effort to make this forthcoming hall a crowning success —the music, such a necessary adjunct to ballroom dancing, will be entrusted to the baton of Mr McCo-' mish.
