PAPUAN OILFIELDS
RESULT OF ANALYSIS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copy right MELBOURNE, Juty 11. Mr Glynn (Federal Minister for External Affairs), states that an analysis of oil from Papua has shown the deposits to he equal in the moro important features to those of Java and Sumatra, which are regarded as being the best in the world. Experts believe that at a thousand feet tho supplies will he sufficiently largo to make the Papuan fields commercially successful.
