WAIROA’S ATTITUDE. . Press Association. WAIROA, July 11. The Qounty Council passed a resolution strongly urging the Public Works Department to start a bridge over tho Napier inner harbour at once; also to speed up the construction of tho East Coast railway at the Napier end. Tho council is sending a deputation to the Minister on the 23rd re starting the East Coast railway at Wairoa. Tho Mayor (Mr Oorkill) will represent the borough, and he and Mr John Withell (late of Canterbury) will represent tho Harbour Board.
