The House of Representatives met at 2.30 p.m. EXPRESS TRAIN IMPROVEMENTS. Mr G. Hunter (Waipawa) gave notice to ask the Minister for Railways whether, in view of the fact that the Wollington-Napief service is now under review, ho will consider the advisability of running a combined Waganui and Napier express train as far as Palmerston North. SUBURBAN TRAINS. Notice was given by Mr A. M. Myers (Auckland East) to ask the Minister for Railways whether the experiments with the new petrol-driven cars justify the extension of such services to the suburbs of the larger centres. NEW BILLS. Mr J. Payne (Grey .Lynn) gave notice to ask leave to introduce the Mortgage and Security Closure Prevention Bill and the Workers’ Right to Work Bill. Mr G.
