Notice was given in the House of Eenresentatives by Mr T. M. 'V; I ford, M.P. for Hutt, to ask the Minister for Public Works whether ho would this session p’acp the Estimates the sum of £2OO in order that the Epuni Hamlet settlers at. Lower Hutt might hare a serviceable drain outlet constructed to tho back Waiwetu road drain. Mr Wilford states tint tins matter in of urgency, and is a rcatonfible grant to the hamlet.
