Mrs Carmen has boon arrested in connection with the death of Mrs Bailey, who was found shot in tho rooms of Dr. Carmen (Mrs Carmen’s husband), a fashionable doctor. REVULSION OF FEELING. There is a revulsion of feeling in ■America in favour of Mrs Carmen. .It is considered that she,was intimidated by Detective Burns. The sheriff who arrested her wept as ho apologised for doing so.
