It can be conscientiously stated that the present expansion of Wellington’s suburbs is due to steady progress, and to show what our district comprises‘in. tho way of suburban residential areas, we have set out in to-day’s issue the attractions of Eastbourne, Petone, Lower Hutt, Ngaio, and Khandallah. Owing to lack of space, it is impossible to deal with all. the suburbs in this issue, "but in succeeding Saturdays’ issues of the “Times,” others will be described.
