VERDICT FOR THE “SUN.” By Telesrnipli—Press Association -Copyrlgbi (Received July 3, 9 p.m.) SYDNEY, July 3. The jury returned a verdict for defendants m the case of the Co-opera-tive Assurance Company claiming £50,000 damages against tho “Sun” Newspaper Company for alleged libel. Mr Justice Sly concluded a long summing up, on fair and unfair criticism, with the words: “If the jury finds that the “Sun’s” comment was fair, bona fide comment, the verdict will he for the defendants.”
