SHEEP-DOG TRIALS

ANNUAL CHRISTCHURCH MEETING. Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, May 22. The Christchurch Sheep-dog Trial Club is holding its annual trial during most inclement weather. The heading, bringing back, holding in the ring, and yarding competition was won by A. W. Ptollock’s Bob, this being the fourth occasion in which ho has been first in this event. R. R. Pollock’s Border Tweed was second. R. W. Trotter’s Storm was third, IV. Robinson’s Jem fourth, J. W. Pollock’s Chance fifth, and J. B. Purdue’s Lochicl Kep was runner-up.
