NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW 1914
A visit to one of these National Dairy Shows fills one with admiration, pleasure and pride, showing as they do what this country is sending into the world’s markets and what it is capable of producing and doing. The rapid, growth of the apple export industry is making itself felt, and it is understood that the committee will next year make an endeavour 'to encourage exhibitors in this division. The display of apples is' always a feature of the National Dairy Show, and the committee is never backward in recognising any factor which tends to enhance the educative value of the show. .
The Manawatu Poultry Association has greatly extended its schedule, and tho small extra charge made for admission last year has been abolished. Visitors will therefore be able to come and go as they desire. A very large entry of birds is anticipated. Entries close on June Ist. The secretary -is Mr W. T. Penny, box So, Palmerston North, who will send schedules free on application.
