COTTON MILLS’ FIRE
SEVEN HUNDRED WORKERS IDLE
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright LONDON, May 17The Bankficld cotton mills at Nelson, Lancashire, caught fire and burnt for half an hour. Damage to the extent of £4OOO was done. The fire was risible for a distance of ten miles. Seven hundred workpeople have been rendered idle.
