A meeting of the Colonial Wool Merchants’ Association decided not to limit the fourth scries. LONDON, May 13. At the wool sales the market was firm, with competition well maintained for all sorts.

Prices are unchanged. , CHEESE MARKET PROSPECTS. In a letter dated London, April 3rd, Messrs Rowson. Hodgson and Co. report; —"Owing to the shortage of Canadian cheese tills season, wo have had to buy a great deal of New Zealand cheese in London, •which, however, has not been very profitable, because we can only f.ervo the market at the price we paid, and any we had over had to go, at a loss, and as we haw:- had a drooping market the business for three months boa been unsatisfactory. Wo shall be very much surprised if Canada does not produce for export more choose than last year, and we are not at all sanguine of the high prices prevailing which a lot of people ate forecasting."
