Tangiwai and Brookfield were together' three lengths in front of Gloy, Tragedy King, and Tact at the end of seven -furlongs; done in-. Imin 34sec. Jack Delaval went seven furlongs in lmiiv 33se.c, and: Goldsize the same distance in Imin 32sec, finishing welL: Labour Day and The Hague did three-quarter pace work. Ventura heat Red Book over seven furlongs in limn 34 l-oijec, and Bloriot was a length the better - of Merry Roe over the same distance in Imin 32 4-sscc. Royal Irish heat Jolie , ; Fillo over a mile in Imin oOsec. Sir Aloseley was two lengths in Jront.of .Zeus at tho end of six furlongs in Imin 20 3-3 sec. Haskayne was no use to Patronale over the same distance, covered in Imin 19 2-ssec. Alultiply and Soultikoff were four, lengths in front of Alarshal Alacdonald at the end of a round. Lord Lupin was better than Gerberga over four furlongs in 52sec. Mistie beat Prince Alcrriwee over seven furlongs in Imin 33 8-ssec, and Austin, alone, did six furlongs in Imin 21 2-ssec. Tetc-a-tete, going easy alongside Queenliko and Tavistock, was beaten off at the end of five furlongs in Imin 8 2-sscc. Uymettius went fiv©

Beldame was a length in front of Prince Soult at tlie bud of a mile from tho new ]>ost, done in Imin 48sec. Both Mere tired. Fisher was better than Zetes over six furlongs in Imui 21 2-5-sec. Spalfish beat Lady Blgiva at file end of live furlongs in Imin 5 l-orsec. and Tripoli and Kitty Bcllair did four furlongs m 51 4-sscc. Royal Anns ivas a shade better than Crown Pearl at the end of seven furlongs in Imin 35 l-ssec. Bcrcola and Cloudy Dawn ivere schooled over six hurdles, the former shaping best. Fleet Arrow, Providence, and Dandy Breeze wore in that order over five hurdles. Black Northern was sent over six hurdles, with’the. assistance of Navy Blue over the first five. Tlie former showed no inclination to'run off. Glciimorc,. Master Leslie, Santiago, and Alaoriiand took tho big fences. , Santiago fell, and her rider, Tiisley, .received a nasty shaking.
