A report of what is believed to be ■oil© of the smallest schools in England was presented recently at a meeting of the' Lancashire County Sub-Educa-tional Committee at Lancaster. His Majesty’s inspector reported that he visited Augbton school, seven miles north-east of Lancaster, and found two children present out of five on tho hooks.
