ADDRESS BY FATHER HERRING. The church of St. Mary of the Angel*, Boulcott street, was again crowded la«t night with women, a mission for .whom is being conducted in the parish by the Marist Fathers. The preacher was the Rev. Father A. Herring, who delivered a telling, sermon on “Death." His text was “Set order io thy house, for thon ehalt die and shall not live" (Isaiah, ch.‘S3. v. 1). The rev. father related the parable of the wise and foolish virgin*, emphasising the danger of procrastination, which while dangerous in merely worldly matters. wa,s fatal in matters spiritual. Following the words of the prophet, he" urged his hearers to delay, but to set their lives in order. The service, was marked by hearty congregational singing.
