UNEXPECTED DIVISION GOVERNMENT MAJORITY FALLS TO 37. 0 1 Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received March 13, 10.45 p.m.) LONDON, March 13. In the House of Commons, the Government’s majority fell to thirtyseven on an amendment to the Arm}’ Estimates desiring more generous treatment for soldiers married off the strength. Colonel Seely, Secretary of State for War, promised concessions. The Unionists unexpectedly called for a- division. A number of Labourites, who had supported the amendment, voted with the Government.
