SHOREDITCH MURDER
WITNESS ATTEMPTS SUICIDE. Or Telegraph-Press Association— Oopy rlglo LONDON, March 10. The landlady found the man Moore, who gave evidence in the Shoreditch murder case, inhaling gas through tubing attached to a gas-bracket. He has been sent to hospital, [At the trial of John Starchfield, charged at the Old Street Police Court with the murder of. his son, a man named Moore, a timber, porter, testified that he saw Starchfield, whom he knew previously, near the tube station at Camden Town on the afternoon of the murder with a curlydieaded boy. Starchfield, interrupting, denied knowing Moore. The latter added: “I said ‘Hello/ and Starchfield nodded in return.’’]
