A report from St, John’s states that Rogers now admits to a local police officer, Sergeant Finlay, that he met Reeks at the hotel in England, a report regarding which was discredited by the Wolverhampton police. WHAT A SISTER THINKS. LONDON, February 3. Rogers’s sister, interviewed, says she docs not believe her brother knew Reeks in Lincolnshire. ROGERS TO BE DEPORTED. (Received February 5, 0-5 a.m.) ST. JOHN, February 4. The immigration authorities flatly donv that Rogers admitted he knew Reeks. Rogers also denied making the statement. . , , The authorities have decided to deport Rogers.
