[Dr Grafton Elliot Smith, M.A., F.R.S., is professor of anatomy in the University of Manchester. He was born at Grafton, New South Wales, in 1871, and was educated sti, the Universities of Sydney and Cambridge. He was for some time professor of anatomy in the Egyptian Government School of Medicine at Cairo.]
