CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS, Press Association.
FEILDING, February 3. For the first day of the Feilding show the weather was somewhat showery. There were very large entries of fat lambs and sheep, purebred Romneys, Jerseys, and dairy cattle. The following champ.onships were awarded : —Hereford bull and cow, E. Short, Holstein bell W. 1. Lovelock, cow C. Hopping; Ayrshire bull J. McFarland, cow D. Buchanan; shorthorn bull, AV. Gibe-on; Jersey bull Toni McKenzie, cow C. G. C. Dermer; Romney ram, p. Mungavin; Southdown ram, J. Knight. Points prizes were awarded as follows: —Flock sheep, W. Reid and Son (Feilding); fat sheep, A. E. and A. Symes (AA’averley); fat lambs. Highden Estate (Feilding); fat sheep and lambs, Syme Bros.
