The Bristol Chamber of Commerce advised the Wellington Chamber of Commerce yesterday that its commercial superintendent (Mr Lewis) and Mr Hqnry L. Biseley would visit New Zealand in the near future to place before the commercial community the advantages of Bristol for dealing with oversea produce. Mr A. W. Crawford, late head of the mail staff at the Dunedin Post Office, and who has retired on superannuation, after forty years’ service, was made the recipient on Friday evening of a handsome gold watch, suitably inscribed, for himself, and a handbag for Miss Crawford from the members of the staff.
