The Indian passive resistors contemplate beginning a march in large force on New Year’s Day from Natal to Pretoria. Mr Ghandi has forwarded to the Hon. Krishna Gokhalo a telegram stating that the imprisoned resistors were treated with unparalleled cruelty. SIXTEEN INDIANS SENTENCED, (Received December 25, 5.5 p.m.) ■ CAPETOWN, December 25. It is reported that sixteen Indians havd been sentenced to throe mouths’ imprisonment at Volkrust for attempt-, ing to cross the border into Sierra Loone.
