Sir Frederick Green, preaiding at tho Orient Company’s meeting, said the financial pinch in Australia was only temporary. Tho company would reap tho benefit of increased trade and immigration -when development activities were renewed, but it was important that tho Commonwealth Government should progress on sound lines.
