Private advices received in Wellington yesterday state that at the Sydney wool sales Messrs Winchcombe, Careen aud Co., Ltd., sold 5600 bales. Topmaking merino wools and crossbreds wore firm, but prices for other sorts were irregular. Merinos sold up to 15 per lb, and crossbreds to 12Jd.
