Tho Labour Congress resolved to convene an Australasian Union Congress nest year for the purpose of accomplishing tho federation of labo'ar on a national basis. Mr Catts, tho president, said that tho Congress would doubtless cause a great stir, as it would cover all tho States and New Zealand. The Congress condemned Judge Heydon’s recent strictures on tho northern miners, declared that such statements unfitted him for the position of judge of the Arbitration Court, and appointed a deputation to wait on the Minister for Justice to request Judge Hoydon’s removal from tho Court.
