MEETING OP CIVIL SERVICE CLUB. The eighth annual meeting of the Civil Service Amateur Sports Club was held last night, Mr A. Marxyatb presiding. Tho annual report and balance-sheet (which have already been published) were adopted, It was decided on the motion of Mr Carter that an additional rule be adopted as follows:—-“That an hon. assistant secretary may be appointed at annual or special general meeting of the club; tho holder of such office to act with and iff tho absence of the hon. secretary, arid to ho a member of the general committee ex officio.” 1 The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows;—Patron) Sir Joseph Ward; president, Mr D.
