AVIATOR HOPES TO COVER - 20,000 MILES. By Telegraph—Prose Association —Copyr'pM PARIS, September 14. M. Fourny, aviator, flew 8032 miles in eighteen days. He hopes to complete 20,000 miles. He flies 'low, in order to amuse himself watching the peasants, and also races motor-cars. [M. Georges Fourny is competing for the Miohehn Cup. He has, since August 25th last, Mown 440 miles daily. He is using a Maurice Farman biplane. Neither machine nor engine has given trouble. The competition continues until the end of October.]

The recent aviation accidents have not broken Germany’s faith in Zeppelin airships. , They are regarded as necessary infantile maladies. The experience gained by the disasters, it is argued, places Germany ahead of rival nations in the matter of progress with dirigible airships.
